I was trying to put Electronics-Semiconductors Zacks Industry Group in the Focus List. This group has 62 symbols. When I put any sub group in the Focus List I end up with the subgroup AND the main group, in this case Computer and Technology which has 785 symbols. I don't want to run the Focus List on 785 symbols, just the 62.
Can the Zacks list be made so that you only get the symbols from the box that you check rather than that box and all the symbols up the line in that larger industry category? This happens with all the industry groups. If you click on a few sub groups that you want, you can end up with thousands of unwanted symbols in the Focus List.

It’s awkward but you could copy-paste all the subgroup symbols into a custom list.

For testing purposes I wanted to run strats on individual Zacks groups so I set up custom groups. I just added ELECTRONICS-SEMICONDUCTORS to a new group and it works the same way. Under "Custom Lists" I created a new folder named "Zacks Groups" and then the custom lists following that. Didn't want to confuse you with the name looking like OT's default list. Try this:

Interesting. I think I understand what you're saying. Will give it a try. Thanks.

Maybe easier way to say it is just create a new custom list, use ELECTRONICS-SEMICONDUCTORS as the starting population and a criteria that includes all like C>0.
