In Pre-release 2B a Market Overlay was added for the Portfolio Simulation:

- Added a Market Overlay method for use in Portfolio Simulation. This method overlays the growth of a market symbol, like SPY or $DJI, over the Portfolio Simulation test period so that users may quickly compare other methods with the market. The symbol & allocation may be changed in the Market Overlay method.

How do you activate it say for the SPY?

Ah, I see it is an ATM Method that has to be enabled and the Symbol and % Allocation to it can be specified.
