I'm confident that this post from you will elicit a response. It's my feeling that OT's monitoring of itself needs to be more intelligent ... AND that the user should be given OPTIONS as to what actions OT should take if something amiss occurs ... or (in your case) fails to occur in a reasonable period of time. THE USER SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPTION TO CONFIGURE OMNITRADER TO AUTOMATICALLY *CLOSE* ANY TRADES AFFECTED BY SUCH EVENTS. Some users may not want this ... but others would prefer the comfort level of knowing that their trades are NEVER UNMANAGED, even if OT functions incorrectly.
