What needs to be done is the entire core of OT needs to be re-written in NEW language, cleaned up, streamlined and made more bullet proof (error resistant). All the really cool add-ons over the years are awesome but have added a lot of bloat, slowed things down and made it prone to crashing, etc. The problem is it is $$$$$. It would take a team of 10-15 coders a year to do it right. The end result would be a much improved, error resistant and faster OT - and with a NEW GUI too! I personally would contribute $ for just this effort. It is that important and would be that much of an improvement | |
