Subject : How can I get AutoTrade to run?

Hi,
Last weekend I turned off AutoTrade, used OmniScan to create a sumbol list, did a ToDo run on the new list, and did some PortSim analysis.

When I was done, I reselected the original MySymbol list and re-enabled AutoTrade.

Then Barry posted something about deleting a file to make sure my PortSim data was re-created when ToDo ran. So I did that and re-enabled AutoTrade.

Today I turned off AutoTrade and went to the Paper portfolio to see how last weeks trades did. No trades were taken since 3/9/16.

I don't know for a fact, but I suspect that the AutoTrade process is somehow blocked. How can I verify that AutoTrade is running and that the ToDo processing is completing normally? Can I force AutoTrade to reprocess last weeks trades?

I'm running the default NClub ATM ARM5 configuration.

Thanks for the help!

Keith

latest - I waited for the AutoTrade start time and verified that data was downloaded. It looks like there are new signals tonight. Maybe it was just a trade-less week???

Keith,
You asked "Can I force AutoTrade to reprocess last weeks trades?".

Run PortSim and look at the trade report for that period.

Excellent! Thanks!

User error - trades taken in my Paper account are accurate.

So if I want to change my forward test date in the TODO parameters to match the start date of my Paper portfolio, such that when I go to PortSim I can select Forward Test only as my Test Period and hence get a graph and trades that mirror my Paper portfolio just by clicking Run Analysis...

Do I have to do anything like delete a file, or manually run TODO, or anything eise to have AutoTrade continue to work correctly come Monday evening?

Thanks

and Cheers! HSPD

Keith,
One of the things that I like most about ATS and ATM are that they can be run in PortSim and precisely simulate the trading that will occur with AT. I can know exactly how things will work, OR should have worked if I FOLLOWED THE PLAN. I've been able to correct some things in my occasional discretionary interventions (e.g., leave well enough alone).

I do not know of any file you need to delete, nor do you need to manually run ToDo. AutoTrade can run unassisted. You indicated Barry made those suggestions, but I don't know what the context was. So, you'll have to exchange some emails with him on those questions.
