I am using d\data to update my metastock files. The problem is "some" charts will display the last Bar as it is for tomorrow. This problem started occurring ages ago, but I never received a workable fix. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Are you only wanting to get AU data, only US data, or both? Click Edit/Exchange Information & let me know what the default country & exchange are set to? Can you give a few example symbols that are having this behavior?

Hi Barry I also see this problem or perhaps it's different but similar. I generally see a black & yellow chevron on the right edge when I download intraday ASX data, I will send a screenshot the next time I see it. I use both ASX & Omnidata feeds Cheers Aztrix

As promised a while ago, here is a typical screen shot of ASX intraday right edge problem. Let me know if you require any additional info? Cheers Aztrix ![]()

If you close the chart & reopen it & the yellow/black bar should go away. Does it not?

Yes it does Barry but it doesn't fix the bug and I'm sure you're not suggesting I close/open each of the charts on ±8 tabs with between 4 & 9 charts in each tab? Cheers Aztrix ![]()

Alternatively, does it fix the charts if you restart OT?

No it doesn't, nor does changing the profile (even a US Stock profile)

Click Edit/Exchange Information & let me know what the default country & exchange are set to? I asked this before & have not received an answer. You say you're using ASX & US. Could you tell me the steps you take when you switch from one to the other? You also mentioned that you're getting ASX intraday data, but initially said, "I am using d\data to update my metastock files." So now I'm very confused since intraday is not possible using Metastock data. Or are you saying that you download data during the day? Your latest message indicates that you see the behavior using a US Stocks profile. I take it that you see the behavior using OmniData? If that's the case it'll be much easier if we focus on that since I have OmniData too. If this is the case, can you explain/show an example using OmniData US?

Howzit Barry? Apologies for the confusion, I just piggy backed on RBGGO's original post to avoid duplication of information as I am experiencing the same symptoms. In answer to your questions: 1. Default country & exchange are set to US & NASDAQ 2. I have different profiles for ASX & US data, I use both ASX & US whereas RBGGO only uses ASX 2.a. ASX I use Premium Data with custom lists 2.b. To setup custom lists in OT, I have to chop and change between OS (OmniScan) & UD (User Data) because of the limitations in UD that prevents me creating (or changing between) different "My Symbol" lists while editing data. As if that's not bad enough, every time the constituents of the ASX custom lists change I have to manually delete/add all the symbols again because they are not automatically updated based on UD custom list folders, tedious to say the least. And to demonstrate just how tedious this is, here are the actual steps for creating just one list: 2.b.i. Click the "Pencil" icon, 2.b.ii. Change the Data Source from UD to OS 2.b.iii. Create a new "My Symbol" list e.g. ASX 300 2.b.iv. Change the Data Source from OS to UD 2.b.v. Go to "Drive & Directories" and navigate to data disrectory 2.b.vi. Click "Select All" button 2.b.vii. Click "Add" button to add to new "My Symbol" list 2.b.viii. Click "Close" Now extrapolate that to say a dozen or so "My Symbol" lists and I'm sure your eyes will glaze over pretty soon … This process (altho cutdown) also has to be repeated every quarter when the constituent index lists are updated 2.c. US Data is all based on OS 3. I think RBGGO uses d/data, I use EOD/Intraday from Premium Data 4. No, I see this behaviour only in ASX profiles, irrespective of whether it's EOD/Intraday data. My gut feel is that this occurs until the US trading day starts which is roughly 17 hours behind Sydney, Australia depending on DST I trust this is all the info you require but please don't hesitate to let me know if it's not, I will try my very best to be as accurate and detailed as possible even tho I may not always know the correct nomenclature in OT Cheers Bruce [Edited by aztrix on 3/16/2022 6:08 PM]
