To some they mean the same thing. Personally I refer to every one of them as a plugin.

But in Nirvana technical terms, a Plugin can add trading Profiles, Strategies, Indicators, Systems, and more to your trading platform - basically things to give you signals & trade them. A Module gives your trading platform an extended set of tools & features - basically some user interface change. Some examples of modules include GroupTrader, Strategy Wizard, & TradeScope.
