At any rate, I have some time to play with things now and before I spend any new money, can someone explain the difference between OmniVest Gold (which I currently own), OmniVest Pro, and OmniFunds Professional (I keep getting emails from Nirvana to buy this one). I hate to be dense, but these products are expensive and I need a better understanding of what they give me over what I have. Thanks! | ||

OmniVest (www.MyOmniVest.com) is a website that allows users to combine different types of technical trading strategies together into groups called "Portfolios". OmniVest then generates a composite equity curve from the signals generated by that portfolio of strategies. Users can then connect their brokerage account to OmniVest to automate the trades from those portfiolos of strategies. Your Gold Membership to Omnivest is a life time subscripiton and allows you to use up to 20 Portfolios of strategies at once. OmniVest Professional is an additional subscription to OmniVest which includes the following advanced features/tools for OmniVest users: Portfolio Wizard, allows a Pro user to create dynamic portfolios of strategies that will rank and dynamically change strategies on regular intervals like monthly or quarterly. Portfolio Balancer, Allows Pro users to choose multiple portfolios and have OmniVest dynamically rank and change portfolios on regular intervals like monthly or quarterly. Dynamic Lists, allows Pro users to create dynamic symbols lists based on technical criteria to use with portfolios of strategies in OmniVest. Similar to OmniScan lists in OmniTrader. OmniVest Pro Tools Info http://protools.myomnivest.com/ OmniFunds (www.myOmniFunds.com) is new web based automated investment platform that uses a totally different approach than OmniVest. OmniFunds uses a switching algorithm to switch the users holdings at specific intervals like monthly or weekly. Each Omnifund is made up of 2 Symbol lists, one aggressive and one conservative that it ranks and filters. It then monitors the market using an index symbol and when it finds more volatility in the market, it moves positions more heavily into the conservative list. When the market becomes more bullish it switches the funds into the more aggressive positions. OmniFunds in currently free to use. However, later this year they will begin to charge users an Asset under Management fee to use the Funds. These fees will range from .25% to 2% of the account size. OmniFunds Professional is a one time purchase for a life subscription to OmniFunds and includes the OmniFunds Lab, and SuperFunds free for life.
