You probably noted that there were no trades since the end of December. Angela, Barry, and I all researched it, and everything looked like it was working correctly. In looking at the SPY, there really weren’t many drawdowns that would trigger a long RTM trade. On 1/29 a trade was triggered in AFL, so that makes me feel better and seems to confirm that things are working OK. (I joked with Angela in mid January that at least we weren’t losing money…) In case you don’t monitor the ATM forum, I put up a post over there that uses the FTM portfolio in a discussion about increasing its allocation level and the increased performance gained by doing so. You might want to look at it, as the (rather radical) change in allocation would’ve produced a 60% return in 2018 with FTM.
