Your submission start time is at 9:20AM EST, so all your open & close orders were submitted then. 2. Shortly thereafter, but before market open, you unchecked GMCR, but you were a little late since the order already placed with your broker. Had you unchecked it before 9:20 it would not have submitted the close order. Or after you unchecked it, you would've wanted to view the Broker Orders tab to see if any there were any outstanding orders sitting at the broker waiting to execute at market open that you didn't want. The Broker Orders tab is very useful as it will show you all unfilled orders sitting at your broker. I highly recommend using it especially when placing manual trades. Now we do have an enhancement for this behavior coming soon in the next TP that will also cancel the broker order if it hasn't yet executed. With the new behavior in the above case, unchecking GMCR would also cancel the order at the broker. |
