Well Steve, I just had one of those this morning too on a thinly traded ETF (Europe: UPV). Glad you mentioned this as I wouldn't have recognized IB's cryptic "order size out of range" message.

Have you heard from Barry about the ability to enter Market Orders before the open with IB?
