I started out with stocks as a youngster in the year 1987. I can still remember being amazed by the gradual, yet quite downward, market developments in September 1987. "Is that normal price action?", I would ask myself. Well - October 1987 gave the answer :-) What a time.
I'm into stocks, options, futures/forex. ETF's and the likes I tend to not quite trust by nature.
On a final note - I am interested into the general concept of "value", or what we perceive it to be. `The emperor never wears clothes´, but the majority of mankind will only be able to see that once the sh*t truly hits the fan. Or we die happily before such events happens in our lifetime. Either way, there is little choice to do otherwise. Some things cannot be controlled. May that serve as a humbling thought in life.
